How to start running

When the training is completed

After you have completed Week 12 of the training, take a 2-day break. Then go out and run for 40 minutes without stopping.

Now the training is over and you can run continuously for 40 minutes. You do not need our training programme any more.

If you train regularly (3 times a week), your body will be fit, sound and healthy. 40 minute’s running is perfectly enough.

However, if you want you can improve even further. For example, once a week you can extend the running time by the additional 2 more minutes of running. After 2 months you will be able to run for the whole hour!
